About the Integrative Neurostimulation Conference (INC):
Our goal is to create a meeting with a strong interdisciplinary focus to bring in unique perspectives in neuroscience and brain stimulation that are typically not heard side by side. We believe that growth and innovation optimally occur at the intersection of disparate ideas, and that interdisciplinary meetings provide an incredible opportunity to connect people and topics that might not otherwise interact, inspiring new scientific talent and creative advancements. Furthermore, the INC is not run by a for-profit company and is affordable for all to attend. In previous years, we have attracted over 100 attendees who came internationally to listen to and interact with speakers from 4 continents. INC will be held on May 12th-14th, 2020, at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Future information will be provided regarding sponsors, travel support, and accommodations once available.
About the Carolina Center for Neurostimulation:
The Carolina Center for Neurostimulation is part of the Department of Psychiatry at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is directed by Dr. Flavio Frohlich. Established in 2017, the Center seeks to revolutionize psychiatry and neurology by studying the dynamics of brain, body, and behavior, investigating the response to stimulation, and translating discoveries into clinical treatments.
